Assistant Superintendent
Location: Washington, D.C. or surrounding area
Salary: $65k to $75k
We are searching for a professional and experienced superintendent to join our team at Liberty Construction. Our company specializes in interior build-outs for commercial healthcare offices, and we are excited to bring on a new team member who shares our passion for quality construction.
As an Assistant Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in helping manage and oversee fast-paced projects (90–120 days) with high-end finishes. Your attention to detail and ability to effectively communicate with architects, owners, and team members will be key to ensuring the success of each project. You will work closely with a project manager and have the responsibility of leading and supervising daily operations on the job site.
To be successful in this role, candidates must have at least 2 years of experience in commercial construction. Additionally, experience with Procore or similar construction management software is required. This is a full-time position with benefits, including Health Insurance and PTO.

Responsibilities and Duties:
Excellent communication abilities, including ability to write technical emails to architects and Owners
Knowledge of construction budgeting best practices
In-depth understanding of local, state, and federal construction code.
Qualifications
2 Years of Experience in Commercial, 1 Year of Interior Fit Out.
Experience with email and Procore, or similar software used for marking up drawings, and tracking RFIs and Punchlist.
Proficient in reading architectural and MEP drawings and specifications.
Must have your own personal vehicle for transportation and valid driver’s license.
